In 2023, the Haho 2 commune allocated 196 million FCFA to development projects, while its total budget amounted to 205 million FCFA, reports the Agence togolaise de presse (ATOP). This balance sheet was presented on Monday May 6 in Asrama (120km northwest of Lomé), at the opening of the 1st ordinary session of the municipal council this year 2024, showing an achievement of 95% of the commune's initial budget.

Over the past year, actions undertaken by the Haho 2 commune have included equipping schools with tables and benches, rehabilitating markets with the installation of sheds, and building culverts and boreholes in villages. These initiatives, it is reported, were aimed at improving local infrastructure and meeting the essential needs of the population, particularly in a region where agriculture predominates.

According to the municipal authorities, the resources injected into these initiatives came mainly from revenues and support from the Local Authority Support Fund (FACT).

For the year 2024, the commune, under the leadership of Ayidote Sossou, plans to multiply actions to guarantee the continued development of the locality. Future projects include initiatives to strengthen local agriculture, improve access to basic services and promote the well-being of Haho 2 residents.
